Update winetricks, and then run the apps/steam winetrick. Then, click "Advanced Options" and under Tools click Winetricks. There will be a 'Wine' application in there, so open that. Right click on the created app and select 'Show Package Contents'. Call it 'Windows Steam for SpyParty', and open it up in finder. Once that is done, create a new blank wineskin wrapper. Open it, and click the little plus to install a Wineskin Engine - you ultimately want something like "WS9Wine2.22" in the list of installed engines. I bear no responsibility for how this may affect your steam installation, but I don't anticipate copying the exe out of the steamapps directory will break anything. This hacky solution isn't officially supported by Steam or the developers of Spy Party, so don't bother them about it. I am uncertain if posting these instructions or this suggestion somehow breaks the Steam EULA, so please have some grace with me if it does. Since it looks like Chris is putting out other fires - if you are a bit adventurous, you can create a wineskin wrapper yourself (which is how the Mac steam install is supposed to work anyway.)
